We signed Kyle up for soccer this fall and we weren't sure how it was going to turn out. Turns out he liked it and had a great time playing. His goal for the entire season was to make a goal all by himself, and if you know Kyle you know that he is anything but super aggressive, so I hate to say it, but I wasn't sure this was going to happen. Each game he tried and tried, but no goal. So we get to the last game, actually the last minute of the last game. We kept telling Kyle that we knew he could do it and his coach was telling all the kids on the team to pass it to Kyle so he could score....with almost all the time off the clock Kyle was passed the ball and he kicked it, by himself, into the goal!!! We were all jumping up and down. He ran over to the sideline high-fived his coach and gave me a hug. The season couldn't have ended better for Kyle. In the car on the way home Kyle said that he almost started to cry because he was so happy....that's my little guy for you!!
Here is his team with two of the volunteer coaches they are students from the local high schools, they were SO GREAT!
After all the kids received their trophies. They all loved them.
One last cheer for TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!
